8-day Discovery Holiday

Nothing beats Groningen! This slogan is there for a reason, the North has so much to offer!
That is why this wonderfully versatile package has been put together, in which you will discover the most beautiful places in the North in 8 days:

Day 1 - Arrival
You arrive at the hotel and stay in one of our comfortable rooms. Explore the area right away and start with a walking route from the hotel (4 or 8 km). After this beautiful walk, take a seat in The Falcon Restaurant for a delicious 3-course dinner.

Day 2 - Visit the city of Groningen
Explore the city, go shopping, enjoy the many terraces or visit the beautiful Groninger Forum! It is wonderful to enjoy this beautiful city. Tip: we sell P + R tickets at the reception, so you can go to the city center cheaply.

Day 3 - Schiermonnikoog
On day 3 you will visit the beautiful island of Schiermonnikoog. We arrange the boatticket and bicycles for you, the bicycles are ready for you in the ferry port: get on and enjoy!

Day 4 - Walking, cycling, discovering
The choice is huge, we have a large number of walking, cycling and car routes available for you. You decide what you want and enjoy yourself.

Day 5 - Visit to the most beautiful villages of Groningen
Groningen has many beautiful villages, each with its own history and characteristics. Explore these villages by electric bike or car. Again we have mapped out different routes for you. Tip: rent a QWIC E-bike at the reception!

Day 6 - Treasure hunt Groningen
Discover the beautiful, vibrant and centuries-old city center of Groningen with this challenging route. The Martini church tower keeps an eye on things while the route takes you past rustic courtyards, the centuries-old harbor with its beautiful views, past exuberant student bars, wise university buildings and Groningen's "Central Park" (Noorder Plantsoen).

Day 7 - Cycling to Drenthe
On day 7 you will get on your bike to beautiful Drenthe, with a beautiful cycling route and a delicious packed lunch you will discover this last gem of this holiday. In the evening you end the day with a delicious 3-course dinner in our restaurant.

Day 8 - Departure
After the last extensive breakfast, pack your belongings and prepare for the journey home. Will we see you again in the North?
