An area full of surprises Located along the old main road to Groningen and the Winschoterdiep, our hotel is surrounded by greenery. And yet the City of Groningen, with its many shops, squares, courtyards and restaurants, is very close by. Just like the beach and nature. For example, the Hondsrug area is well worth visiting and no other geopark in the Netherlands has UNESCO status. Even the sea eagle can be seen around our hotel, a bird that doesn’t normally live so close to a city. Are you after culture or fresh air? Well the Hunebedden, Schiermonnikoog, the Wadden and Zeehondencentrum in Pieterburen are all easy to visit from our hotel.
